There used to be many open mics in the area and Covid kind of messed things up for a while. They are coming back, though…right? 😍
Ken and Casey met at one such spot – the 410 in Chicopee. (Here, probably, Ken is leading other performers in a rendition of Wagon Wheel.)
Although they never played together at such a gathering – Ken was mostly a solo act while Casey partnered with Bill Martin for a while…over the years, they did get together coaching one another in techniques, learning new songs, and especially having fun at Ken’s Saturday Night Circle Of Friends.
Ken has pushed Casey to join him in a couple one-off gigs and now it’s KenCasey. Go figure.
